Classical Encounters presented five shows at the Gatehouse, showcasing the best-loved arias, duets and ensembles by the masters of Viennese Operetta – Johann Strauss II, Franz Lehár, Carl Zeller and Robert Stolz. Featuring Die Fledermaus, The Merry Widow, Paganini, The Land of Smiles, The Count of Luxembourg, White Horse Inn and many more, all accompanied by Peter Crockford at the piano, with choreography by Louisa McAlpine. Champagne, fun and frolics were had by all!
